Here are some great ideas if you are taking pictures or videos of properties:
1. Sharp sunlight is harsh. Shoot while the sun is coming sideways. Before and after the sun rises and right before is sets are called “magic hour” thanks to the wonderful shadows and rich color.
2. The horizon is a touchstone; don’t lose it. Put the horizon in the upper or lower third of the image for natural balance.
3. The home doesn’t have to be in the foreground. Well composed pictures feature a foreground, middle ground and background to add depth.
